I’m Alex Herder, co-founder of The Duke & the Duck Productions, an animation production company.

Prior to starting my company, I worked at Voxiva, where I helped create text4baby, a text messaging program aimed at improving the lives of pregnant women and new moms. Before that, I went to the University of Illinois where I started a bike co-op and edited Duenos.net, a little-trafficked blog that collected some interesting thoughts.

At the moment, I live in Washington, DC with my fiancée Melissa and an absurd-looking cat named Toulouse.
